2025 Chevy Bolt EUV MPG, Redesign, Pictures – Having an electric vehicle (EV) may not be the right choice for everyone right now. The same logic that says a two-seat sports car can’t carry a nuclear family also applies to electric vehicles (EVs). Conversely, if you are considering purchasing one, you may find it useful to examine the 2025 Chevrolet Bolt EUV—an acronym for “electric utility vehicle.” Check out my demo car if you’re thinking about buying one.
There were several updates to the Bolt hatchback for 2025, and the EUV was a brand-new feature for that year’s models. Both of these adjustments were implemented. The base LT model starts at $41,998 and is one of two available trim levels. A delivery cost of $1,800 is already included in the purchase of the vehicle and cannot be negotiated. I went for the Premier trim level, which started at $45,498 but ended up costing $51,003 after adding all of the optional features.

Exterior and Interior
There is a comprehensive list of standard amenities that are included in both of the trim levels. A number of these luxuries include a programmable gauge cluster measuring eight inches in diameter, an automated climate control system, a driver’s seat that can be adjusted in height, heated front seats and steering wheel, bluetooth Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a phone charger, a cargo privacy cover, and a touchscreen panel measuring 10.2 inches from the dashboard.
Rain-sensing wipers, heated and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, leather upholstery, and heated and ventilated rear seats are just a few of the extra features available in the Premier grade. Just a handful of the elements showcased are these. The top trim level offers further hands-free capabilities for the adaptive cruise as an optional extra; in my case, it cost $2,495. You can buy this option if you want to. Though it lacks complete autonomy, it can be used on pre-mapped split highways. Its estimated length in the US is about 297,000 kilometers, whereas in Canada it’s closer to 24,000 kilometers. 2025 Chevy Bolt EUV MPG
When you’ve come to the designated distance, a green light will appear on top of the steering wheel, allowing you to release your hands from the wheel. When you get to the right stretch, this will happen. You still need to keep an eye on the world around you, even though it’s doing very well. In order to ensure that you are following all of the instructions, a camera mounted on the steering column is constantly monitoring your eyes.

Making use of any of the technological resources at your disposal is not going to be difficult. Toggle switches regulate the HVAC system, while the infotainment system’s physical button accesses the home screen, a volume dial adjusts the audio, and the menus are straightforward. Furthermore, the temperature can be used to control the climatic operations. 2025 Chevy Bolt EUV Specs
There are also controls on the steering wheel that the driver can use to change the instrument cluster easily. Though I find the Bolt EUV’s push-button gear pickers annoying, I still think they’re better than electronic push-pull levers. Similarly, Super Cruise is a breeze to use; if you’ve configured adaptive cruise control, all it takes is one button click, and then you just have to wait for the green light to let it take over the wheel. 2025 Chevy Bolt EUV Express MPG
Engine and Performance
There is an electric motor on the Bolt EUV that can generate 200 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. An energy-efficient 65 kilowatt-hour battery powers the Bolt EUV. Only the front wheels can be propelled by this specific motor. You can get a surprising amount of power when you demand rapid acceleration or pass on the highway, and the tires will genuinely squeal when you pound the accelerator. Click here for more information about this vehicle. Contrarily, it is not a sports car and has great features that make it great for regular driving. When gently pressed, the accelerator produces a linear acceleration. 2025 Chevy Bolt EUV Specs
In order to mitigate the effects of its height, the Bolt EUV features a low center of gravity. This is because its massive battery is hidden beneath the floor. This enables it to effortlessly navigate curves with minimal body roll, an inherent feature of its design. Having fun behind the wheel is easy with this vehicle because of the light but responsive steering. Not only can the battery be charged from an external outlet, but it can also gather energy through regenerative braking while the automobile is braking.
This adds new functions to the battery. It is possible to drive the Bolt with just one pedal by pressing a button that automatically increases regeneration to the point where the car would slow down and halt if you removed your foot from the throttle. By doing away with the requirement to alternate between the two pedals, this is achieved. Stopping at the pedal is thus unnecessary. If you’d rather have a hand in controlling it every time, you can boost the regeneration speed with a paddle located on the steering wheel. A gauge in the center of the dashboard shows the amount of electricity being used while driving as well as the amount of power being returned to the battery during regeneration. 2025 Chevy Bolt EUV MPG
2025 Chevy Bolt EUV Fuel Economy
Officially validated by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), the Bolt EUV has been found to have a fully charged range of 397 kilometers. Compared to the Bolt (417 kilometers) and the Hyundai Kona (415 kilometers), it’s not as practical. While it’s not the longest range available, it outshines the Nissan Leaf (240–349 kilometers) and the Kia Niro EV (385 kilometers). The Bolt EUV has a range indicator that shows you how far you can go in perfect conditions and how far you can go in less than ideal ones. The car comes equipped with this gauge as standard equipment. The real range depends on a number of separate circumstances, which is not surprising.
An estimated 16.8 kWh/100 km of urban consumption, 20.1 kWh/100 km of highway consumption, and 18.3 kWh/100 km of mixed driving consumption are all based on current estimates. The battery will take around seven hours to charge using a 240 volt charger, but it will get about 160 kilometers of range in thirty minutes using a public DC fast-charger. 2025 Chevy Bolt EUV MPG
2025 Chevy Bolt EUV Safety Features
As of the writing of this article, neither the NHTSA nor the IIHS has given the Bolt EUV a crash rating; so, the score it received here is impacted by this lack of award. Both trim levels come standard with a plethora of safety equipment, including ten airbags, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, automatic high-beam control, emergency front braking, and a high-definition version of the backup camera that is mandatory on all new vehicles. As standard equipment, these functions are incorporated. The Premier now comes with adaptive cruise control and surround-view monitoring. 2025 Chevy Bolt EUV MPG
2025 Chevy Bolt EUV Price and Release Date
At a price point between $41,998 and $45,498 (as of this writing), the Bolt EUV is competitive with similar vehicles on the market. This would hold true regardless of the presence or absence of incentives. Prices range from around $41,000 to $49,698 for the Nissan Leaf, $46,790 to $56,490 for the Kia Niro EV, and $46,224 to $51,324 for the Hyundai Kona EV. Prices do not include freight. However, while the Bolt EUV’s overall warranty covers the vehicle for 60,000 kilometers, the battery and electrical propulsion system components are covered for 850 thousand kilometers. 2025 Chevy Bolt EUV MPG
