This remains true despite the fact that the capability is not outstanding. The vehicle’s enormous cargo capacity is immediately apparent when opening the liftgate, especially considering its compact dimensions. Capacity increases to 716 liters with folded rear seats, thus surpassing the capacity of nearly all other compact sport-utes on the market. Opposite in terms of capacity is the 688-liter Honda HR-V. But, with capacities below 600 liters, you’ll find the Hyundai Venue and Kona, the Mazda CX-30, and the Toyota C-HR. To make more room, you can fold down the rear seats of the Trailblazer. You can also easily remove and adjust the cargo floor to make it higher or lower. You can easily access both of these capabilities. By folding the front passenger seat forward, you can fit an eight-foot-long plank of lumber inside the vehicle before closing the hatch. The suffering that has already occurred has been further exacerbated by this.

Automated headlights with automatic high-beams, a seven-inch touchscreen with a Wi-Fi hotspot, air conditioning, 17-inch alloy wheels, a front seat that folds down flat, and Teen Driver—which allows parents to control the vehicle’s speed and volume—are all included in the base LS model. My RS test vehicle included six speakers, adjustable suspension, LED taillights, and 18-inch wheels. It also had active noise cancellation. Engine and Performance

Two turbocharged engines, each with three cylinders, are standard on the Trailblazer, much as the newly debuted Buick Encore GX. Both of these engines are available for purchase by anybody. Powering the variants equipped with front-wheel drive is a 1.2-liter engine that can generate 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. The gearbox that comes standard on this engine is a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Even while the small engine can get you where you’re going, you still shouldn’t rush and should instead take your time. Because of the highway’s slow acceleration and lack of overtaking power, cautious maneuver planning is required. On sometimes, the nine-speed transmission seems to have too many gears for the task at hand. Moreover, it shifts a lot to get into the higher speeds as fast as possible to save gasoline as much as possible. When traveling at a respectable speed, the engine tends to stay at around 1,100 revolutions per minute. The result is an obnoxious rumbling sound emanating from the engine. Some of the competitors with ratings between 8.4 and 8.6 include the Honda HR-V, Toyota C-HR, Nissan Qashqai, Hyundai Kona, and Ford EcoSport. There are a lot of additional competitors.

This is because its protection against side impacts was assessed at five stars, but its protection against frontal impacts and rollovers was rated at four stars. We have not yet assigned this rating. At its most basic level, the LS includes standard equipment like the obligatory rearview camera, lane-keeping assist, a tire-pressure monitoring system, a tire fill alert (that tells you when a tire is filled to the right pressure), and emergency front braking with pedestrian detection. You won’t have to pay anything to use any of these features.

Automatic parking, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert will all be available to you after that. Any vehicle in the LT, Activ, or RS trim levels can have these features. The technology package that my tester was given included adaptive cruise control, among other amenities. The Trailblazer’s technology might be a bit clumsy as it adjusted to vehicles weaving in and out of its route, even though most of these systems have been upgraded to be much smoother. The fact that the Trailblazer’s basic pricing falls somewhere between $23,798 and $30,498 shows that it is competitive with other cars in its class. Compared to the HR-V (beginning at $24,400), the C-HR (beginning at $23,750), and the EcoSport (beginning at $25,149), the Kona and Qashqai have lower starting prices but end up costing more.    2025 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Redesign

Having said that, I did not feel that the $35,083 test vehicle was even slightly justified by its high price tag, no matter how many extras it included. It lacked some amenities often seen in the most expensive trim levels of competing automobiles and had mostly plastic interior components. Among these features are built-in navigation systems and dual-zone climate control. Furthermore, I would have preferred to have the option to buy a sunroof separately from the power liftgate, which is an amenity I like and would like to have on my vehicle, because I am not a fan of sunroofs in general and panoramic ones in particular. Sunroofs should have been sold separately, in my opinion.
